When continuing spring garden maintenance, providing the plants with an adequate amount of moisture should be the main prerogative. Please keep in mind that overwatering can be as dangerous to the plant as a drought. Normally, water contents in the soil were big enough so the plant could last even up to June without much additional watering. In the last decades dry years were predominant and only artificial watering could provide plants with the right amount of moisture.Watering should not be done in the middle of excessively hot days but rather in the morning or dusk. Adding small amounts of liquid fertilizer while irrigating is also recommended. It is important to use a regulated stream nozzle while watering. It will allow for adjustment of the stream and prevent delicate plants from being damaged. Moreover, soil will not be washed out when the roots are watered instead of leafs. We recommend our nozzle sets Z09j7 or Z09j5 for achieving best results.During summer, direct leaf fertilization should be utilized. We would like to remind you that all MAROLEX sprayers are capable of such watering. Fertilization should be stopped in July because it prolongs vegetation and that is not recommended especially for fruits. If trees bear too much fruit we can remove the excessive amounts by hand to maximize the yield. During summer pesticides are used scarcely due to the approaching harvest date. |
